I "learned" when I was in Seattle, Summer 2004. Tim from the Universe loaned me his so I could play along with the band.

Still working on some fundamentals, but I can play a few progressions on the buttons or a melody on the keyboard. It's a fun instrument.

Still bummed I missed it. I always love being in a room with lots of Emilys. It makes life fun--like in 5th grade when there were 3 of us. I guess you don't have that problem as much....Anyway, next time.....Looks like you had a house full..and music to boot. Your neighbors were cool with everything?

Yeah, that was a cool party - I've never seen such a concentration of creative/quirky/casual people just letting loose. Talent show was a good idea. Next time I'll know to bring a keyboard or laptop...or maybe a theremin! :)
