I'm told I make a good introduction, so here I go.

We set out, cinema explorers, and dared watch The Revolution Will Not Be Televised which was fairly one-sided but illuminating. Still, it's hard not to sympathize when workers in the street are clutching pocket-size constitutions and making arguments such, and it is hard not to laugh when a press ( Read more... )

we saw the same film 2 nights ago--it is true that i would've liked to know a little more about chavez (considering they were originally doing a documentary on him, after all) and the film does take sides, but unfortunately i can imagine the scenario they present a little too easily...
