As far as the wiimote, perhaps I'll write about it further, but I used GlovePIE to munge the sensors into Open Sound Control before intercepting with ChucK. So, if you have something you can control with MIDI, OSC, or joystick input, it might be a good option.
Congrats, sir! You are the master of the wiimote. I spent many frustrated hours trying to get my bluetooth to work and finally gave up. The audio leads on the tounge were an inspired touch! See you in October.
Don't give up on the wiimote. I'm sure it's just a matter of the driver stack, getting updates, or just until the drivers mature a little more. I had to update mine before they worked. Perhaps I can post specifics once I have a chance.
