She shakes her head. "Nah, then we'd have had to try and convince them to use the rubber things instead of the book. Besides, Jaina's a Jedi-- if she doesn't want kids, there are ways to keep from having kids."

Zekk nods slowly, processing the numbers in his head. He's still sort of pale. "Mindmeld, sandflea! Mindmeld! We're still going to have to deal with her and that."

Really, really should not have given them that book.

"Cighal said the meld tends to fade the longer you're away from the nest," she says, more than a little concerned. "You think maybe it'll have worn off by then?"

Especially since the nests don't technically exist anymore like they used to.

Zekk shrugs, looking uncomfortable at the thought. Quietly, "It's starting to fade."

He's gotten very used to having it there.

She wraps her arms more tightly around his nect, buring her face in his shoulder. "Don't worry," she says, her voice a bit muffled. "It'll be okay."

Those rare times when Tahiri's had to share a mind with someone, she hasn't really liked it. Mostly because that someone was trying to kick her out and replace her.

While not the biggest fan of dancing, Jaina is there, standing near the dance floor. If anyone so desires to dance with the bride.
