He starts to walk away and something feels wrong. It reminds Jongin of the time his father had suddenly fallen to the floor, still conscious, but fingers paling. It reminds him of the time he ran to his sister’s bedroom when he had looked out his bedroom’s window to see the whole town erupting in fireflies, taking to the air. An unease. Separation. the moment i legit started tearing up and dampen my pillow omg kim minseok stop turning my heart inside out oh god.
also, i lovelovelove the xiuhan part they're just so lovely sigh i can only imagine the story behind their (and baekyeol) relationship pre-apocalypse and maybe more about this whole eudaimonia project.
wrote about baekyeol in a side story, if you're wondering how that happened :) xiumin, though, is just saying what actually happened to xiuhan in an oversimplified way lols, for campfire story-telling purposes. maybe someday x) thank you very much for reading and commenting! ;u;
it's so poetic ok and i'm a sucker for poetic fanfics and i teared up a little bit during the xiuhan part (ok i'm a xiuhan shipper orz) and it's written beautifully, full of emotions and stuff and yeah idek waht to say anymore. but the bottom line is it's just so perfect yes ;~;
I don't know how to react because my heart kinda aches because it's sad, but also a bit happy at the same time.
So, some experiment went wrong that wiped everyone out? How come Luhan and Minseok managed to disappear at will, just like Junmyeon and Jongin did? Is it because it was inevitable and they were just holding out because there was someone they were waiting for? :( And did Tao, Kris and Baekhyun make it?
I'm sorry I have so many questions, but I'm just really curious.
But this was really well-written and I just felt the loneliness, the not-wanting-to-be-alone-because-there-might-be-no-one-else feeling. I feel like crying, though. Haha. >
Yes, you're right~ It's inevitable, and when they leave is left to will and purpose ^^ Xiuhan and Sukai fulfilled theirs, so poof lol. But then there are people like Baekhyun, for whom it just doesn't happen - more about that in the Baekyeol sidestory, which kind of shows how (and a bit of why) some people end up fading and some don't. :) As for Baektaoris, their future is explained in a sidestory I'm currently writing~
And I don't mind questions at all! In fact, I'd be glad to answer them ^^
no no no, it's alright! <3 just keep asking questions if you need to~ c: not quite a virus, it's more like an experiment gone wrong. ^^ the experiment involved using luhan's telepathy to somehow connect all the people in the world, but oops. and it's not quite finding their soulmates either that lets them be able to leave, but more of feeling that they've finally fulfilled their purpose. thanks for reading and commenting! ;w;
