Ok, I've got to admit.. I've never felt geekier than today. But at the same time, I've had the best physical workout so far in 2011.
A big box was delivered to me this morning.

Eh, is it my eyes playing tricks on me or the truck is bent in the middle from all the weight it carries? ;)
And.. is that a rifle in the trailer or a prop from one of the games? :)

That pic is from an old arcade I cleared out about 4 or 5 years ago. The front bed mounts on my truch are rusted so that is why it looks bent, but the truck was WAY overloaded!

Very cool! Pinball is one of my favorite games. Worked at an arcade for a few years and also got to do a lot of repair/maintenance of pinball machines as well.

Even if it is brand new, I've had a few little repairs to do on it. Two switches that weren't working properly, a fuse, a railing where the ball would stay stuck and a few lamps that needed replacement for a different value.
With all the rain we got this past week, I've had lots of opportunities to play and it is very addictive. I don't mind the maintenance though, it's all part of the fun. :)
Should I count on you for waxing the playing field? ;)
