[Waking up in a bed in an Economy-class room is a rumpled-looking Welshman; his eyes only open partway for a moment before they realize the unfamiliar surroundings. Ianto sits up abruptly, stuck between being shocked by the surroundings, his attire and the fact that Jack has completely disappeared -- or, rather, /he/ has been completely deplaced.]

... [And this creepily expressionless nine-year-old is just watching through the commsphere. She's not exactly sure what to make of it yet, really.]

[He's looking over things in the room right now; his desk, so reminiscent to his own at Torchwood with its organized and neat appearance; his clothes being in the room; hell, this is even his diary, everything still inside, still the same.

And then he notices the sphere.

The jerky, nervous motion with which he picks it up is probably what sets it off -- and suddenly he's seeing the hologram of... a little girl? He takes a moment to react.]

Um -- hello?

[thunder_raging]

[Help me, Obi-Wan Ianto, you're my only hope--]

[Suddenly interaction? Oh shi- She's not good at this. ;_;] ... Hello.

[cofficer]

[sldkjf John Hart is that you --]

[he pauses, glancing at the sphere]

... Where am I?

[goldenpine]

Hey, another new kid! Welcome to the space cruiser Crucible. Where are you from?

[cofficer]

[still a little thrown]

Cardiff. Wales.

Crucible? [a pause; the last Crucible he heard of was the Dalek Crucible, and that was at the end of everything.] Can you tell me what's going on?

[goldenpine]

You're on the spaceship Crucible, which apparently has a bunch of rules I hadn't been told about. [ she pouts ] Still, you've been abducted as much as the rest of us. We're still working on finding a way off.

[cofficer]

... Abducted. That rules out some things. ... How many people are here? For how long have they been arriving?

[ Wonders how he sights the new ones. He holds up a sign reading as follows, handwriting perhaps hard to read:

To Whom it May Concern:

Congratulations! You've been abducted through a means as of yet unknown and placed on the ship "Crucible." You may notice items familiar to you around your room, or items you usually have with you missing. This is standard. No one knows why, or where these items may or may not be from. As of yet there is no way to exit the ship, even with alternate means of transportation to whatever may be standard for you. Levels 11 and 12 have recently opened, while anything lower remains inaccessible.

[Ianto squints a bit to read it, but manages to get most of it. He raises an eyebrow.]

This doesn't happen often at all, then. Thank you... Sasuke. [and it's pronounced RIGHT!]

[ he's back on the move; chat on the run, so to speak ]

People continue to appear at random, more or less. [ seems to be dodging something; he's grabbed the communicator and holds it close to his chest for a moment. ] Any other questions? I'm in a bit of a spot.

[curious look, eyebrow still raised] Not if you're terribly busy, no; that's all right.
