So, often it happens that leiascully and I cook something delicious and say, "Ooh, that's pretty, get the camera!" Less often, we actually remember to get the camera. And even less often than that do we remember to post the pictures we took. But that day is not today! Today, I have remembered! Ahahaha.

( Behind this cut is a huge image-heavy picspam of food, food, and more food. One of them is meaty! The rest of them are not! All of these dishes were delicious. Did I mention that this is image-heavy? THIS IS IMAGE-HEAVY! :O )

Lol! I had a turkey sandwich for lunch, and now I'm all MUST EAT MOAR. MOAAAAAAAAR!!! But I have to wait until dinner, which I think is herb-stuffed artichokes and...er, whatever else we need to use. Probably something with squash. Mmm.

The tacos were soooooooo good, and that recipe was perfect for a day when we knew we would be out and about instead of at home. We're trying to eat less meat in general and eat better meat (ie, shelter-pasture pork, cage-free hens, grass-fed cattle) when we do-- I'm sad to say that this particular meal wasn't made with that, but I wasn't about to send free food back to my mom, hee.

We MUST share recipes! We're always looking for something new to try! If you can coax that recipe away from your son, we'll for sure try it. :D

OMG, girl, it's like you read my mind. Poor Rachel Ray. My parents have that 30-Minute Meal cookbook and I looked through it shaking my head and going, "But WHY would you do it that way??? Whyyyy???" LOL.

That's one of the reasons that I love the Smitten Kitchen so much-- Deb's really, really good at breaking more difficult recipes down and saying, "Hey, you could do it this way, OR you could save yourself from some heartache and from washing eight extra dishes and you could do it this way!" Love love love that site.
