Yesterday, while on our (failed) expedition to acquire curry leaves (for potato masala, which turned out to be delicious without them, so there), leiascully and I stopped by the dairy section of the Co-op to peruse their fine selection of fancy cheese. They have big (expensive) blocks, but they also have tinier slices for a couple of dollars each, and we ( Read more... )

This food list is basically the best thing I have ever heard. Also, I hear grasshoppers are full of protein. But I ain't doin' that.

Isn't he precious? I think he should tour with Jason Mraz, lol.

I'm gonna woman up and do it! I am determined to hit 100% by the end of 2010! It's really just the thought of the legs that makes me... unsettled. :P

The legs are the only bad part. The rest was just crunchy.

Also it was covered in chocolate.

Graphjam just hasn't met you, lol.

I just changed it, maybe, last week? Whenever it was that leiascully made my fancy new header. I figured it went with the general theme of my life these days. (Have I told you that Law & Order has taught me more about raising proper objections than law school has to this point? Because it's true.)

Ok, then I'm not totally oblivious. I feel better.

You haven't told me that but I believe it. I'm not sure law school teaches anything you actually need to know to practice law.

You are not oblivious! All is well.

Oh, law school. I don't know what it's teaching me, exactly. See, my partner and I had next to no idea what we were doing in trial comp this year, since neither of us has ever taken Trial Ad, so when the other team asked a question that sounded like something McCoy wouldn't like, I just stood up and said what I thought he would say. You know, for fun. I wouldn't have kept it up, but it worked. When the judge told me, after the round, that I made "good objections," I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. It was fabulous.

I would rather eat 600 more crickets than eat head cheese, but fine, for our pretentious street cred, let's do this thing. *determined* I bet we can get Dad to fund some of this.

Well, I'm not all that excited about the prospect of haggis, either, but I eat sushi. I mean, that's raw fish. I feel like it can't be that bad.

Your dad will be all over this like Michael on Holly. *_*

P.S and Oxtail is really nice.

...roadkill? really? *pulls a face*

I'm excited about oxtail! I have a recipe for something with it, somewhere.

Okay, for the roadkill, I may have to take a 99%. But apparently there's a section on it in the Joy of Cooking, which I just think is ridiculous and gross. Bleh.

Although I do have some friends who eat strange stuff, so maybe I'll just tell them to start feeding me things with random meat and to just slip it in there somewhere, so I will eat it at some point but I will never really know which dish it was in. Ignorance, bliss, etc! :D

It's nommy. MMMMM.

It very much weirds me out.

This is a good plan, although I'd then be suspicious of anything someone offered me lol .

Also...BLACK PUDDING IS DA BOMB!!! My family being very Irish loves to chomp on the stuff, I've probably been eating it since the word go. Also, white pudding is nommy too. You have to try these things.

I might do this meme, bar the roadkill lol I'm all for trying new things.
