You know I love this and it makes me sniffle. It's almost worse for Lee, surviving, after all the times he tried to die, and now that he's completely alone.

Oh my gods.

Yeah, you just rock. This is sad and sweet and mournful and perfect. I loved your descriptions of Bill's voice, of Laura digging her toes into the sand - of everything, really, because of course you understand Lee's character like no other. And I love the silent reunion with Tyrol: there is too much to say, and not enough, so they don't say it at all.

What happened to Lee is so sad. And yet if he can find peace on a boat (like in Horatio Hornblower! :P ), then at least that's, well, peace.

Lovely, love all the conversations to all the people in his life, but I must say I'm most touched by the ones he had with Sam since they had so little time onscreen together.

His naming his ship Starbuck is a nice mirror to the crew naming the Blackbird Roslin.

With the finale so fresh in my mind, this fic just makes me tear up at the thought of all those goodbyes.

Kudos.
