Heh, that was very, very sweet, and very much Kara. :) I love that Kara wants to slip the Old Man a birthday card. She does have sweet moments like that. It's why I still like her, even after she went crazy.

I do wonder though - don't you think this would fit season 2 better than season 3? I don't think Gaeta still liked Starbuck after she tried to airlock him in "Collaborators", what with the kicking and telling him to beg.

Oh, I only had spoilers through 3 because that's where we found out about the card, lol. I actually figured this took place in season 2. Mea culpa! I meant leave a note to that effect in the Summary. Thanks for the heads up! And for reading!

Interesting idea. Good on Kara's end. I'm really not sure Gaeta would be calling Kara by her first name, particularly not in season 3 after the airlock/traitor business. In fact I don't think he'd be even talking to her unless he had to. I agree with trovia - this would be much better set in season 2 or even 1 perhaps, especially given what we know now about Gaeta in the webisodes. This is sort of completely out of character for him now.
