So, I'm missing a roommate. From what I know, he went back to his world (or was sent to, depending how you look at it), but it still means I'm once again hearing the ticking noise. Not very fun ( Read more... )

You could get a pet. That helps.

Okay... I did not know that.

But I don't spend much time at the apartment, it could count as cruelty towards animals.

Only if it's something that needs a ton of attention. What about a goldfish?

She sounds happy enough. You did good.

If you get me some parts, I could make her purr.

And everytime I hear "You did good", I expect a cookie. It's a home thing.

I don't know if I have any cookies.

Parts might be doable though.

Don't worry. I'll collect at some point.

Awesome.

That's what I need. I can't get them myself because apparently they can be found only in the Underground, and well... I've been told enough times not to go there.

Yeah, someone just mentioned getting a goldfish or something... I'm not exactly convinced.

I'm not entirely sure. Though there would be a chance the goldfish would grant me three wishes.

That can be tough, but I'd wait a week if I were you. People come and go around here all the time.

I suppose I could develop a habit of listening to music on full volume. Just in case.

An animal can work wonders.

There are several at my apartment...I'm not sure how it happened. But yes. It seems that anything that possesses a soul seems to dim or diminish the problem all together. At least with an animal, too, you can find alone time without hearing the ticking of the clock.

Now if it was a pet rock or something...

Pet rock? Now that would be perfect. You could take it with you everywhere. Maybe make a pendant out of it.
