i'm so glad you say that because that part kicked my ass. it frustrated me so much and just wouldn't be right. so this is me being relieved that i apparantly managed to beat it into submission :)

bugger, i had every intention of coming back and saying more, and then life threw a couple of unpleasant things at me and i've been having the worst trouble concentrating and putting together a coherent sentence. not only that, but when i reply to this comment i can't see the original story to be able to quote from. [*whimper*]

so i'll have to settle for saying that i really like what you've done with hermione. the fact that she would use such a precious gift to save draco, her skill and her love. i think you've shown them v. well in this story. am happy to have draco back with us.

i really like your writing, and i really like this story. the opening bit is so v. descriptive and you can just feel both harry and draco's fear.

aww, i'm so glad you picked up on that!! it's not exactly spelled out in the story, but that's exactly what she did. i enjoy writing hermione a lot; it's nice for her to have a big part in this fic. in my other long fic she had more of a background role.

This is coming together beautifully. I didn't notice any glaring Americanisms on the way through (one minor one: "this…entire thing"-- for some reason "this... whole thing" would sound more natural to me), so consider yourself cleared. :)
