they were okay. nothing earth-shattering. there were some nice danny-pining-for-steve moments.

I, too, found myself watching NCIS:LA for the first time because of the crossover. It reminded me why I don't watch the show so I spent most of the time waiting for Danny & Chin to appear. Plus, the case just turned a bit blah towards the end.

yeah, it wasn't the best episode and NCIS was kind of dull. i heard that originally it was steve and danny who were supposed to go to LA, but since alex o'loughlin is in rehab, they had to change that plan.

Yeah, I remember reading that too. I was disappointed Grace Park didn't appear, but then again, I'm not that surprised since they never give her much to do. if anything, i think the crossover cemented the fact that i will never watch ncis:la.

yeah, i think those show crossovers are pretty clever. i ended up watching a private practice when they did a cross with grey's anatomy. didn't get me to watch any more private practice, but i did think it genius marketing.

yup, they are a staple tv marketing tactic. they're most fun when you watch both shows, like with buffy and angel back in the day. i won't be watching NCIS again, either.
