#125. We weren't actually supposed to interview them, just get a drop seg ID for the college radio station.

But guilty as charged. And not a moment of regret.

You may be right about the intent of the visit downstairs.

I was initially amazed that you made it all the way to #125, but then of course you found your way to the Harriet Wheeler link.

...And I'll still debate about "Lost Cause" to whoever will listen.

Also: I was on a rooftop in Brooklyn at THREE in the morning this summer; does that count?

If you saw the five bridges and the Empire State Building then I'd damn well say it counts.

I never could have made that move to New York City and lived the life that goes with the song, but when I hear that song I can almost envision the alternate reality version of myself that could have done it.

I think it's really cool that you're doing it. You're kinda my hero.

I assumed you'd given up. Have showtunes done you in that thoroughly?

Please note I used the phrase "As Many Songs As You Care To Post." I don't expect anyone else to post 200.

But I'll admit it would be cool if they did.

As I noted to inquiet, I don't expect anyone else to opt for two hundred songs.

Though I have a feeling that you're on the people that could pull off that number and more.

For the record, that Del Shannon thing did go down just the way you remember it.

And is it funny that, from about number 20 on, I was like, "Where the hell is 'My Wife and My Dead Wife?' What's WRONG with him?" And yeah, I laughed out loud when I finally got to the Robyn Hitchcock section.

Thanks for this post...it brought back a lot of our Point days. ;-)

Wow. I figured that was too good to be true.

The Point memories are the most distant, but they're also the strongest.
