Who are You Waiting For?

Of all the plays I've been reading, Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett has been the one play I simply cannot get my mind off. Before I read it, I asked around and the general opinion was that it has no beginning and it has no end, it's just waiting. Is that a bad thing? In theory, that's awful.
