yesterday i got a ticket. even though they are pretty much as bad as the carlsbad cops in having nothing better to do that give tickets for lame things, i still liked the alameda cops better because they come to starbucks and are nice when i give them coffee. i will certainly have a more difficult time if these two officers waltz in wanting their ( Read more... ) -

my future prospects
so lately i've been trying to think of things i could feasibly do (well, maybe) after i get back from europe in the fall. you know, aside from just working at starbucks.
1. internships! with magazines or publishing companies. that would ideally then lead to jobs. preferably in the editorial arena.

i hate starbucks more and more everyday.
but i do love it when brian invites people over to eat, drink and be merry. if only i hadn't had to close tonight.

an evaluation of the situation
i just wrote the introduction to a paper...that i am supposed to have finished for class in the morning. however, i have become so accustomed this semester to turning things in late that it seems silly to try and write 4.5 more pages tonight...

my mom was supposed to come visit me this weekend, and finally bring me her old dining room table for my apartment. however, it seems that she will not be coming. i have no one to blame for this other than breakitdwnnow54. and for once i think my blame is warranted.
