I haven't read anything else, but Sylvia Townsend Warner & William Maxwell's letters in "The Element of Lavishness" are gorgeous.

I fell right out my front door almost a week ago, and I STILL have to bandage one of my skinned knees. I'd forgotten how much that hurts. Hope your bruises fade faster than mine; I have a pool party on Sunday and I think I'm still going to look funny.
