I know, right? Siggy and Athelstan in two straight episodes! I can't believe Ragnar will let Floki off the hook, but then, Ragnar plays the long game. It won't be immediate.

Mr. S has taken to repeating all of Floki's lines in a Gollum voice.

HAH. Brilliant.

No, Ragnar needs Floki to build boats for him. He won't kill him yet. (Possibly he should find someone else to train in this skill?)

Heh! You made me laugh! *g* I was spoiled for this months ago, so I would have been prepared regardless. What I didn't expect was that I would be so unhappy with the show overall this year on several levels, which has made things much easier for me. It was kind of entertaining to watch ttis teeny fandom melt down that night on Tumblr, tho.

I thought of fandom people before my own (or Ragnar's) grief as well, heh. Glad you were prepared at least, but I'm amazed they let spoilers for this leak. I was pretty shocked. I haven't checked the fallout on Tumblr -- I might need to bulk up on some cynicism armor before trying to brave that. :D

C, I didn't know you watched this show -- good to have your commentary! You're so right that it's good Rollo and Bjorn didn't hear, but I suppose in their heart of hearts they suspect. Bjorn was more than fine to spread the news about the bracelet, after all.

I'm enjoying the show, but I'm not too fannish about it.

I would like a good podcast for it; I got spoiled when I was watching Korra by the folks who did Republic City Dispatch; now I want a podcast that good for all my shows.

Bjorn was more than fine to spread the news about the bracelet, after all.
Yeah, which is a shame, since I recall he was friendly with Athelstan once upon a time.

I wish the show was more accurate in its history & anthropology, but I am enjoying it anyway, in part because I have no idea what history they plan to ignore, or use, or invent out of whole cloth...

Oh, I'm glad you weren't distraught, then.

I enjoy the show without being particularly fannish about it, so I'm not bothered much by this season, although I would have preferred Lagertha not lose her earldom. (I am patiently waiting for her to knife someone. Preferably Ecgbert.)

I bet the fandom totally melted down, oh my yes.
