Re. "Dark Side of Peter Pan" article -- glad to see some critical comments left on the article. It's hard to put a lot of stock in something that is taken from a book called "Uncle John's Bathroom Reader" (are articles within the book sourced? footnoted

I've noticed some people on twitter and fb will tag authors during the "conversation". In those instances, I don't think they should be surprised if the author then decides they've been invited to join in. In all other instances, I think the author should remember the little homily about eavesdropping.
Indeed. And yet, some authors don't learn. I've seen authors get into a disagreement on a fan/reviewer's blog, and then go back to their own journal/blog and put up a link with a snide comment how some people just aren't smart enough to get it. In which case the fans descend en masse to tell the fan/reviewer off.
Thank you for that link to the "Time Bandits" article - it's one of my favorite movies of all time and this just reminded me of all the reasons I love it. Terry Gilliam is a very weird, wonderful, difficult bugger.

Re Peter Pan, the article leaves out his relationship with Cynthia Asquith's boys.
Re Renay, that is so depressing.
