Netflix rental: I only had the first disk. Worse, I had a friend over, so I won't be able to watch the second one until she is available to watch with me.

It's quite good. Although McAvoy looks about 17...

For your sake, C, I hope the next disk has all of the last three -- and that you can make the time to watch them all through at once.

State of Play is so good. I get ridiculously fast Netflix service and the delay between discs frustrated me because I wanted the rest Right Now. The ending, if you don't know what's coming, is a worthy payoff.

I didn't bother with the US remake, but apparently it wasn't very good.

State of Play is one of the. best. series. ever. (Amazingly, the ending is not a complete let-down, as it so often is.) I hope you get to finish it soon!

The first time I watched State of Play and practically everyone was in the room together in Bill Nighy's office, I was like, "...holy crap, is this really happening on my computer screen?" Awesomeness.

Yeah, we played a lot of UK actor bingo on that show. So-and-so who was later on Hustle, Mary Maceachran, both of the dudes from Life on Mars, and so forth. I think the only major actor in that NOT on my radar was the MP.
