Well. I know what I'm getting my sister for her birthday. Because she's certainly the biggest Springsteen fan I know, and the idea of an entire documentary about the making of Darkness on the Edge of Town even makes me excited, and I've only seen him perform half a dozen times, while my sister has lost count. Woot.

Re: Yuletide, every year I vow never again, but I always crawl back because filling requests for tiny/nonexistent fandoms is so warm and fuzzy. I mean, my own fandoms are so hopelessly obscure that I'm stunned and grateful that anything gets written. I think a lot of people feel that way.

(E.g., y'know, if you'd do CJC characters, I know of several people who've been very, very patiently asking for them for years now...)

Well, I don't write for Yuletide, I just can't, although I would also support any CJC stories. I assume you read the one Morgaine-and-Vanya story written for YT a few years back?

I read everything that's posted for CJC series, though I can't volunteer for them myself; I have zero confidence I could pull off a pastiche for her.

It's too bad, 'cause your fanfics are among the awesome (for instance, Rider fusion, very exciting). But, yeah, I'm too familiar with how stressful it can get, the intractable downside.

Born to Run - Starts with the greatest rock song of all times (not just of Bruce) and ends with Jungleland (OMG, LOVE) and then has Born to Run in the middle of it! Awesome in every way and song for song better than Darkness on the Edge of Town.
