I really loved this whole paragraph and line of speculation:
He wondered why so many of their hunts involved spirits or creatures from other lands.
And thank you for the Lagos stuff -- I found myself wondering in the previous section just how you'd finance and run a swanky new casino built from scratch.
Very intriguing how things are shaping up, and Dean’s less-than-ideal encounter at the end was interesting. The boys really have their work cut out for them.
Favorite lines:
Sam caught his breath, choked once, and then spat; he'd learned over the years not to swallow. It didn't help much.
Eew! Good detail.
But as Dean pulled his hand away, the hair came with it, scritching softly across the stained green jacket, dropping bits of leaves.
Eew again! *cringes*
she smiled back helplessly, and looked back at him three times on her way back to the kitchen. But it was a poor tactical decision: when he returned his attention to the table, Sam had already taken the two largest pieces of the pie.
*snickers*
Sam looked twitchy, like if they had wireless here, he would be tapping away at his laptop.

I need steak and eggs to heal! Cannot heal properly on ramen,"
It's a very vivid image, and one based on a story I was told by a ski-patroller, about a skier who hit a tree and died, and the coyotes got to her... Ew indeed.
