OH MAN I AM SO MASSIVELY EXCITED ABOUT THIS!! IT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE TINTIN.
And yeah a big part of me really wishes it wasn't animated so that I got to see Jamie's gorgeous face but it's TINTIN!! I need to reread the comics again.

HAHAHA IT IS KINDA WEIRD THAT THIS IS WHAT THEY CAME UP WITH WHEN DOING A TINTIN-THEMED PHOTOSHOOT BUT WHATEVER I LOVE IT. THAT PHOTOGRAPHER KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING.

WHEEEEE! I AM SO EXCITED! (in a way i think it's a good thing that it's animated. i'm not sure it would feel quite as much as tintin if it wasn't)

HE WAS SPOT ON WITH THIS SHOOT MY GOD, ITS BEAUTIFUL. I THINK THIS IS WHAT DID IT FOR ME, I WAS LIKE HUH, JBELL'S IS LOOKING QUITE FINE THESE DAYS, AND THEN BAM!!! THIS SHOOT, THE EYELINER AND THE STRINGY STRING THINGS HOLDING UP HIS TROUSERS WOAH!! AND I LOVE HOW HE'S INTENSELY LOOKING THROUGH A MAGNIFYING GLASS. IDEK

there was an animated tv series. i think it was called The Adventures of Tintin. i used to watch it every friday after school.

OMG OMG OMG I AM SO EXCITE. I am like...the biggest Tintin geek ever and collect the books in different languages and I have posters and adverts and stuff at home and YES TINTIN.

The Tintin geek in me has been waiting for this for YEARS and it's ALMOST TIME and I might just die of happiness because it looks amazing.

WOW!! THAT'S AWESOME!!! I used to go to the library to read the comics (in Norwegian and sometimes in French just to improve my understanding of the language), so I only own one of the books. How many different languages have you got them in? TINTIN IS AMAZING.

IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE. I AM SO HAPPY THAT TINTIN LOOKS SO MUCH LIKE TINTIN!! (although I would probably have been pretty happy if he looked more like Jamie Bell too :P)

I got them out of the library as well - although that was more Asterix - I was more obsessed with owning Tintin. I've got the full series in a mixture of French and English and then duplicates in, umm... German, Dutch, Finnish, Spanish and Catalan. I think that's it so far. I've also got facsimile editions of some of them and Tintin and the Alpha Art in French, English and German :) Oh, and the box set of the cartoon series :D

Heh my teacher used to make us read Asterix in class, but I always preferred Tintin.

Tbh, I am surprised by the number of people on my flist who grew up with Tintin. I thought it was just me hehe.
