Yeah so I'm not the best map reader in the world. Well I mean I'm a pretty good map reader I guess it'd be better if I said I'm a bad way finder. Liz and I were tryin to get back from Danville to Goochland in the shortest amount of time. Our sister Joy gave us one direction, and Billy (Liz's friend who lives in Goochland) gave us another way.

dear dear h.p.... you see, this "flash".. it's unnecessary in my eyes. think about it, the purpose is to quickly get someones attention... but if that's how you get it, through something superficial then it will only hold and fascinate that person for that long. and no one can have a relationship in 2 minutes. we still hanging out thurs?

I still disagree. I think u proved my point. Exactly u need to quickly draw the girl's attention away from all the other guys trying to get her. But the flash is just for them to notice u. That's all. Something to make u stand out more than the other guys. And I mean this could be that u keep to yourself, or that you're just really fun with your friends. But something for them to be like "....Hey" But the flash is a flash because it only lasts for so long. It is to grad their attention. Once u have their attention in a good way, it's down hill from there. Every guy has some flash, just that the flashes could be very, very different. I mean it could be a smile.

As for Thursday. Just tell me when and where. It's your turn to choose.

One thing that I've found works somewhat well...don't be afraid to make an ass out of yourself to make a girl laugh. Not only is humor a great way to break the ice and get noticed, but it also shows that you're confidant enough with yourself to cut loose in public. The key to it is not to take it too far. Just use it to get to that point in getting to know 'em where its ok to reveal some of your more serious qualities, and use it to keep 'em smiling.
