So, on the way home Thursday from anime night at a friends house (we watched Akira, for those who hadn't seen it already), I stopped at Blockbuster, to see if they had anything interesting in their used stuff. I didn't really see anything that sparked my interest (although there is a LOT of stuff to look through and I didn't feel like flipping

I did watch the director's cut of the film, though, so I am not sure how it differed from the theatrical version.

I can tell you how: It turned out to be somewhat decent.

This was a PG-13 theater release and, honestly, other than the celebrity status of watching "Malcom in the Middle" run for his life, it was pretty devoid of quality. Did a review of the thing a few months back, but too lazy to look for it now...
