There are a million other things I should be doing right now (or at least a good dozen), but inspiration struck unexpectedly, so here we are. This is fanart for
blondiusmaximus's lj comic The Adventures of Gerard: Boy Princess of the Ocean and Frank: The Italian Gentleman's Son Who Loves Him. If you haven't read said comic yet, I strongly recommend doing so immediately, and not just because the rest of this post won't make sense otherwise. G:BPOP & F:IGSWLH is charming and funny and cute and there are underwater montages--seriously, what more could a person want? It's technically bandslash, but it's so AU that even if you have no knowledge/interest in such things, you will enjoy it anyway.

Our protagonists! The mossy texture on Gerard's outfit maybe didn't turn out so well, I don't know. This shot is mostly so you can see the buckles on Frank's shoes.
Bad news: the special effects budget wouldn't cover actual sea life.
Good news: my computer mouse does a pretty decent norwhal impression. (All it needs now are some angry eyebrows.)
