Finished, had printed and bound and handed in my DISSERTATION OF DOOOM! Something like 90 pages I handed in of text, and one page of diagram. It was exhausting but it's been an amazing thing to work on for the last year, I'm actually going to miss it

I even managed to get something about the "House" fandom in there as I was discussing poststructuralist analysis and Sherlock Holmes, I'm still not sure how.
PIMMMSSSS! SQUEE! Though I yearn to make something alcoholic that is hideously unnatural in colouring.
Your icon is making me want to re-watch "Sleeping Dogs Lie", Wilson and that blow-dryer was amazing. And his noisy toenails!

It was so cool, and completely and totally what I want to do my PhD on if I can ever find somewhere to do that in the far, far, farrr distance. Getting to write 100,000 words on fandom would be even more fun! I totally ran out of space all over the place trying to cover things. I had wanted to really delve into the slash subculture but *sniff* alas, maybe next time.
those were the good ol' days for me! lol! saw your carnaval pictures! You've still got it! Actually, you haven't got it, you ARE it!

My favorite cocktails can all be made with gin or with vodka, depending on one's personal tastes:
Gimlet - Rose's sweetened lime juice (or reasonable facsimile thereof), gin or vodka (usually in equal parts to the lime syrup, or 1::1.5 or something like, depending on how strong and how sour one's tastes are). Over ice with a lime twist.
Piccadilly - gin, a splash of grenadine, ice, fill the glass with orange juice.
Greyhound - gin, ice, fill the glass with grapefruit juice. Salted rim of the glass turns it into a Salty Dog.
