Wow, 20 weeks ago was when I last updated this thing. That's really sad. Frankly, why do I even have this journal anymore? Ehh, I guess to pen down some thoughts whenever the mood strikes...though it seems that the mood strikes in increasingly infrequent intervals as of late

I'm afraid work life is like that... no longer surrounded by a large pool of people your age. :(

Didn't know you had an older boyfriend, though. I don't think there's anything wrong with hanging out with his friends if you're comfortable with them.... I can see how then going back to people your age might be hard. The two groups are probably facing pretty different challenges at their points in their lives.

You hit the nail on the head...that's exactly what it is. I had friends who were all of a certain age group and bam...all of a sudden (well, it's been 3 years in the making) my primary social network is in the early to mid-thirties. In the end, people are just people but their perspectives on life are so different...
