I can't believe Alex is coming to BA. I can't BELIEVE the colonel. Well, obviously I can, but still. Never has the term lucky bitch so aptly applied. I went out last night with Jesscia, Leanora and Tibault, and Jessica could not belive the luck of Alex-ho. Grr. We went to a bar which apparently was having French night, which seemed to involve ( Read more... )

I'll give it my best shot with the coronel but I'm not promising anything. Mmmm...Tibault, that's a..actually not a very sexy name. BUT the moody French ARE sexy. I suppose he'll be gone by the time I get there though, sigh.

I was just being light hearted, deep down I think Glasgow's lovely. I am a defender of old school architecture! So don't get stroppy with me ho faces...and the homeland is pretty in it's own special capitalist way...

I actually think Glasgow is quite pretty. Some bits more than others I'll grant you. I mean, what about that bit out by the Cathedral? The University? And there are lots of nice buildings, they just tend to be a bit off the main road.

I think it is a lovely city, it just happens to be next to Edinburgh, so it's not surprising it's not considered pretty. It's certainly prettier than anything I've seen in America or Australia.

I was going to say, aren't you all proud of me for not mentioning how pretty Edinburgh is? Actually, it hadn't really occured to me. That's how above our station us Edinburgers are - we don't even have to think about how great our city is.

I wasn't getting stroppy with you, ho-face. And parts of America are lovely - DC and Boston are both beautiful. I didn't mean to suggest there were not nice places there, I just meant I really like Glasgow. I also think we probably have some of the ugliest towns in the world. Kilmarnock, East Kilbride and my own personal favourite Glenrothes, come on down...
