I find the cold refreshing, but it makes it hard to sleep. It helps that I work most nights anyway, at least I'm doing something ( Read more... )

I guess it depends on the tree. I mean there are these huge, ancient ones that would probably have seen a lot in their time, except that most of them are out in the country where nothing really happens. And then there are bonsai, and I've never had a bonsai last more than a couple years. Pick your trees wisely, is I guess what I'm saying.

In the movie, he said that you need to climb to the top of a mountain to find the right tree. I guess it only works with the huge ancient ones then. Or maybe its so that you don't overburden the little trees. Or maybe its so that no one can ever find it...

Could you tell one of those trees all your secrets though? Or find different ones?

One person, however insignificant, can house a multitude of secrets. Trees grow so much larger than us. I'd imagine they can hold a great many more.

Would one tree be enough for all a person's secrets? Would it be fair to the tree?

I think it depends on the person. Some only have a few secrets. And some are nothing but secrets. I don't think it's fair for the tree. People ought to keep their secrets to themselves, not pin them to another.

I don't think it's fair, either.

How dare you say pornographic films aren't real movies! They may not have the deep plot you are probably looking for, but that is not the purpose they serve. A plot would only take away from the focus of the film.

I vaguely remember a movie in which the characters stowed away their secrets in a treehole then went back to them later. There was a romantic plotline of some sort between the friends. It was a good movie, just wish I could remember what it was.

I'm...sorry. I didn't mean to offend you. I just meant movies that get into regular cinemas, that's all.

Was it 'In the mood for love'? Because the plot sounds similar. It's a very good movie.

As long as you mean well.

The title doesn't really ring a bell with me. Funny how I can picture the tree vividly but the title of the movie still escapes me.

Different things stay in the mind in different ways.

I almost never remember someone's name, but I always remember how I met them.
