Tiger is OS 10.4, the new operating system. As a point of reference, what we were using on the Macs at the DM was OS 7. It didn't have a name, but as of OS 10, they started using feline names and decimals for the new system. So if they kept the numbering system the same, instead of going to the decimal system, this would be OS 13, instead of OS 10.4. (the iChat video feature is cool, but I haven't had chance to use it yet, I absolutely love iTunes and iMovie, and GarageBand is pretty cool.) To answer your question, I'm still transfering all of my stuff over to the new Powerbook, but everything's pretty cool so far. Hey, BTW, I talked to Carlos Clark last night. He told me to tell you hello. He's now the admissions chief at Alabama A&M and thinking about coming to DC to work for the Education Department.
