The building with the round edge looks so much like a painting one of my dad's collegues did. I think he lived in boston for a while, too, so that could actually be the very building. I'll see if I can find a PICHA.

They were, pretty much. I got photos of the center the day they were setting up. Cameras weren't always allowed, security guards got all ants-in-their-pants about them.
