But alas, I am a Hamlet nerd, and thus...all I know is Hamlet. And horatio. And Ophelia, who is, I just decided, absolutely amazing.
I cannot wait to hear about Egypt....I'm so insanely jealous you have no idea. Hopefully next summer I'll be in Greece for three weeks, but I'd love to go to Egypt too...so far, the only exciting place I'm going this year is Florida.

Being a Hamlet nerd is far more admirable! I adore 'Hamlet'; without a doubt one of Shakespeare's best plays. I love Horatio the most though, I think, just for his quiet, constant presence and his grasp of sanity when everyone else around him is losing theirs.
Oh, Greece is fantastic too! I did a tour around it two years ago and absolutely loved it. If you do go, make sure to visit Pella, Meteora and Delphi. I can't advocate Delphi enough - it's absolutely gorgeous. (And yes, yes! Do go to Egypt when you can it's probably my top country to visit. I've been four times and I'm still not tired of it.)

Horatio's my favorite too, though I am personally of the (developing) opinion that he does not, in fact, exist and is instead a figment of Hamlet's imagination. I'll give you the essay when I'm done :P.
I can't wait for Greece, and I will remember those two.

Oh please, please send me the essay when it's finished! That actually sounds really quite intriguing. Mind you, it would mean subscribing to the school of thought that Hamlet is actually mad instead of putting it on. But since I've never been convinced either way on the matter, it should be an interesting read.
