Can I just say that your squick made me laugh out loud? A bad thing to do when you're supposed to be brooding. So now you not only make me give feedback, you won't even let me brood!

All of that aside, I must say how much I love this. For less than 160 words, you certainly hit the nail on the head with Spike. No matter what Angelus did, he couldn't take away or touch what Spike was at his core - William. And can I also say how appropriate your icon is with this drabble? Wonderful!!

Mawahahahahaha!!!!!!! Mys the anti-brood, breaker of traditions, and all-around troublemaker! Lol, why're you trying to brood anywhose? There will be no brooding on my watch! Not unless Mys gets to join in. :-P

*G* Mys just felt the need to show Xan seeing Spike's true nature, and articulating it, even if it was only to himself.

Ya know Mys was tempted to set this in the Fiends!verse just so she could do drabbles with Snowflake and Sunshine, she has all these images like:
'glistening crystal in rays of warmth; opposing sensations caressing each other, highlighting their unique features becoming even more individual in their union...'
*sigh* Oh, well Mys can always change the tags it she does it right, lol.
