This is so, so gorgeous. I tried to choose a favourite part and couldn't, but the language is beautiful and the characters are so sharply defined, like the blades Cesare favours. More importantly, much of that strength and sharpness come from the way you tangled them together - I can't imagine this Lucrezia without Cesare as her darker half, the violence to her resilience.
Would it be too much trouble for you if I asked you to send me a PM when you update the story? I don't check my flist very often and I'd probably miss the notification at cesare_lucrezia. I'm really looking forward to more of this.
