A large section of the hillside just outside Boulder City is on fire. The fire started this afternoon, and the severe winds we've been having caused it to spread quickly. As of earlier this evening, over 1,000 acres had burned. You can smell smoke pretty much everywhere, and when we went to take a look, we could see how frighteningly quickly it was ( Read more... )

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that the fires don't spread any further or come near your house. I hope things are going alright for you.

wow, prox -- good to have an update from you, even if it IS fire-related... I hope you are doing well, and that you'll be untouched by fire.

okay, my first thought was, "YAY! You're in the STATES!" Then I realized that was rather inappropriate.
So, I hope all is well and that Kai isn't freaking out too much.
