I had a surprising amount of fun writing this one, actually! But depressing!fic is always a surefire way to force the muse back. And while I'm not working on TR right now, I'm still writing!

Yep, 'tis the price to pay when moving stories...No need to review, I saved them all on my computer beforehand. I'm not ready to part with some of those... :)

This was wonderful. A version of what could have happened. Spike kept his promises and protected Dawn. The last few lines are haunting.
