Buffy thinks she has it good right now. She is close to Spike and gets to spar with him. Hearing the Watchers' plans, Spike knows it could all end quickly.

But plans have a manner of going head over heels. If Ethan and Angelus have their way, things are about to get both dangerous and interesting.

Thank you for posting so frequently! I can't wait to see if Spike and Buffy can somehow save the day and Spike earn his freedom. And why do I think Narra's not long for this world??

My pleasure! I'm still trying to be finished by Monday, and the last chapter, with some editing, should be done by then and hopefully before your vacation. :)

And what? Narra? Why would you think such a thing about a character conveniently brought back for the grand finale? ;) Then again, maybe I'm just messing with your mind... :D

Culmination!

Even Narra is there, ready to die in in her line of duty (to give way to "Buffy the Vampire Slayer").

So - who's gonna die? Who's gonna live?

Because, with Ethan turning the academy basically into a death trap i'm sure You will shed lots of blood.

I have been waiting for the cellar dwellers to get their shot at freedom for a long time now - i want to see ANGELUS in action!

This is gonna be fun! :-)

You just keep thinking that... (Why does everyone think that? ;D)

Lots will be going on for the next two chapters (which max out together at about 9000 words, so hardly chapter-sized at all), and all your questions will be answered!

And I did say 70+, didn't I? Hm...guess I joined together quite a few chapters and organized the final arc into two long ones or it would have actually been that long. But the sequel will probably be a bit shy of twenty chapters, tying up some [intentional] loose ends and dealing with certain situations that will arise after this ending, so I might just reach that number. ;)
