Well, they had to clear Angel somehow. Otherwise how could Dark Horse keep Angel around? Another loose end neatly tied up with a pretty bow. *insert eyeroll and sarcastic snort*
Great job. No way could you have kept it a 100 words.
Well, as long as Spike says it (before Scott Allie kills him, because EVERYONE knows that Allie hates Spike *snorfle*), it must be true! Because, you know, he's the only one we care about and believe. *nods*
Ah, if only I could stop...but there's so much fun to be had by mocking them! But then, I read the Twilight series for the same exact reason. I'm funny like that. :)
And the whitewashing is just absurd at this point. In the Riley oneshot, they even had (spoiler) Whistler show up and try to insist that Angel's doing the right thing. Characters aren't going to convince us that Angel is right, actions will. I wish they would have stopped trying already and given us real plot in the oneshot instead. :(
Nah, it was in response to the nonstop attempts to whitewash the Twangel situation. At this point, I'd just like to see more plot and less excuses, not when all they are are more and more "reliable" people saying that Angel is in the right, without being given any more tangible reasons.
I don't even understand the purpose of the so-called defense there- I've never seen a comic produce less wank than that one.

he's discovered the source of all her problems, and it's not Angel.
Now isn't that convenient?
Did you ever doubt it? We all knew the whitewashing would soon commence.
