Dear Co-workers,

PLEASE, separate the carts. They will get badly stuck if you don't. I don't care if you don't want to take the time to do it, it has to be done. For all our sakes.

Also, please make a knot for the new garbage bags BEFORE you put them in the outside cans. Do not just put them in, as though you are at home. After a while, they tend ( Read more... )

no you're stupid!, i can't even, co-worker, help me, idiot alert, not paid enough for this shit, lodging a complaint, can't stand any more, laziness, common sense goes where?, annoying stuff is annoying, outsmarting bad co_worker, general incompetence, you're fired, wtf, you're not helping, retail: grocery store, seriously?

Excellent tag usage, feel free!

Excellent points as well, it's funny how such simple logic can have such large impacts.

Thank you!

And trust me, most of the people I work with are just-able-to-enter-the-workforce sixteen year old kids. I get the feeling that some, if not most, of them don't have much common sense. Especially when it comes to the simple, yet obvious, things.

Uggh, it's so taxing to work with those people. Not only are they difficult to correct, and you feel like a second parent, but their family will swoop down if they feel you've been "mean" to their precious snowflake of a spoiled slacker.

Yes...please put a knot on those garbage bags. As a former janitor for large chain store...I saw this way too often. I'd be emptying the outside (or often the inside) trash cans, and the bag would be on the bottom, and I'd have about five quarts of soda/milk/other substances sloshing about, that I would then have to take to the back, clean, dry out and put back. Way too often, it would be all over me, the floor, and anything else nearby.

I had something like that happen to me this past weekend. Sometimes our bags spring leaks, and after every time I handle bags like that, I want to take a DECON shower. It's usually because of the quart of spoiled coffee that ends up at the bottom.

Oh I disagree about carriages sticking; I push them six day a week and they only stick together badly if some pinhead has hit them with their car and dented them. As for screamy mcscreamerson I have identified the air raid siren ones and discreetly find a task that needs to be done in the back room for a few minutes. Works like a charm I tell ya.
