a request of sorts

Last friday I had to hand in the final essay for one of my classes. I enjoyed writing it, and I'm still feeling fairly proud of the result. The same goes for a previous essay I had to write. It feels like spending all that effort on a well-written essay that'll only be read by about 3-5 people is just a waste. I've had a few people comment on how ( Read more... )

English is pretty decent, although there are some awkward phrasings and stuff, which everybody who doesn't get professionally proofread probably does. Passive voice and POV and such.

Diction is at an appropriate level. I think you could go a little more in-depth without alienating people.

Yeah, my phrasing can be a bit close to the convoluted side of things sometimes. The fact my thoughts and writing constantly jump back and forth while writing probably doesn't help. Or the fact that it was written over several days. A little extra proofreading on my side probably wouldn't hurt.
