Since the weather was awesome today, I still had to take some pictures of the situation for my current design project and I wanted to check out the prices of some compact cameras I'm interested in (which turned out to be more expensive than online, contrary to my hopes :[ ), I went out to Rotterdam today ( Read more... )

AWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOME! I love photos, and cube houses even more. Freaking Holland has all the cool buildings, i swear. My favourite picture is the second one because it has the sky as negative space, which I love. The third one seems kind of odd because the green+brown of the tree doesn't go with the cute yellow. Or something, but it's not your fault the trees are that colour sob. I also really like the last one because it tells me how the houses are actually organized.

Personally, I prefer the first (I think it looks better rotated 90 degrees clockwise, but this is the angle I took the picture from) because it has some more motion to it. The third one is obviously the least interesting, but I do like the analogy between the tree and the houses (since the entire project is actually name "the little trees"). And yeah, I put in the last one so people could actually properly understand what is going on there :')
