I wont be able to start working until next week. Why? Because a receipt for a new ID (the actual ID takes up to 10 days to come through) and a birth certificate isn't good enough. They refuse to start me until the acual ID card comes in

at least you have a week to rest and prepare for work.

cheer up, your family should understand the place has protocol they have to stick to.

dont worry love.
itll all work out. isnt that what you tell me when i have nervous breakdowns in applebees parking lots? it is. so thats what im going to tell you. because you know that eventually it will work out. look on the bright side at least you didnt LOOSE the job. you just cant get started till next week. ya know what i mean? things can always get worse. you just have to pray that things dont this time around :)
