Congrats to Vermont for legalizing same-sex marriage!
What I could figure out with a quick check:

Also apparently hooray D.C., as the city council just voted to recognize gay marriages from other states 12-0.

How many states recognize other states' gay marriages, you mean? I'm not sure. Obviously the ones in which you can get married do - or at least I presume so! - but among the others I don't know. I know NY was talking about it, but I don't know if anything came of that.

Oh, neat! That seems like a really important question: how many states/taxation-without-representation districts recognize others' gay marriages? Because those states have de facto gay marriage. Especially the ones like RI that border gay marriage states.
