Bullshit! Honestly speaking, as long as their terrarium temperature & humidity is okay and they have a water source, they stay pretty much alive. And if you bother to feed them every so and then, even better! And sometimes you have to clean, but it's kinda rare..

Taking care of my rodents is SO much more time-consuming. Rats are the worst, because they actually demand attention from me.
