A "Leather" Camping We Will Go....

Off to The Woods Campground in Lehighton PA this weekend for their last Leather/Levi Weekend of the season. This is also the weekend they hold the Mr & Ms Woods Leather contest and this year I've been asked to be on the judging panel, so the weekend should be pretty cool for me.(www.TheWoodsCampground.com)

The weather WAS PERFECT and camping The Woods was great. I'm planning to write a follow-up post later tonight or tomorrow, but we had a lot of fun... the campers & staff were all really nice and the events for the leather weekend, including the contest, bonfires, contestant socials and dungeon parties were a blast. I’m definitely going back to The Woods again next season!

That sounds great Chuck - the Woods is really nice - I just hate going this time of year because you never know what the weather is going to be like. Hopefully next year we can make it to a leather or bear weekend there. We hit Hillside three times this summer...

Our weekend was great thanks. Drove to NW part of PA and the leaves had all ready started to change. Met a friend in person for the first time that we've chatted with for over a year.

I have to say we did have a great summer. Met a lot of nice new people that I hope to get to know better.

Sounds like you had a preety nice weekend too. I've been to Hillside & Oneida, but The Woods seemed to have a really good vibe (and it was only an hour and a half away vs 3+ hour drive).

It'd be cool to keep in touch and meet up at some point.
