a slice of glee pie

You guys! You started a cycle of glee (and, may I just say: what a fantabulous idea) and now I just want to run around hugging people. Spontaneous hugging of strangers might get me sectioned though so, when I bought milk this morning, I limited myself to a big smile. I reckon glee acts a little bit like a yawn; I'm sure I caught the lady grinning ( Read more... )

Isn't he tiny? They are so human - he's looking around, not able to focus yet... very cute. :)

Pretty photos. I wish the clouds here did something pretty other than the general grey blanket I've seen continually for the last few months!

Heh, that's precisely why I was so happy. I'd like to live somewhere like SoCal for a while, to enjoy the year-round sunshine. But there's something to be said for the seasons we get here and even the frequent rain and cloud makes us appreciate the good days all the more.

Fantastic clouds!

My favourite places keep having things added to the list but are normally beautiful views in secluded areas that it took some effort to get to.

Off the top of my head: Maligne Lake in Canada, Kaieteur Falls in Guyana and the top of Helvellyn to name but a very few.

I like having to work for my wonder ;)

The ones towards Liverpool were mostly caused by the power station at Ince. So not really very pleasant, but still, striking how just a cooling tower can create this huge thing on a cold, still, dry day, right up into the atmosphere. The vis that way was much less compared to the Wales direction, not surprisingly.

There is something about a view where you have to work a little to get there. Now I'm going to Google Maps the lake and falls. *g*

...ok, dude. Tell me about Maligne! Jasper isn't too far that if I went to see Boy in the summer, we/I could make a trip out there. It looks amazing!
