I must do that more often…I mean the detox …Yeah, except that’s not what he had meant. She had kissed him. Willingly. Sure, it was to save his life but it doesn’t change the fact that Donna Noble had kissed him. And she had been right in thinking that it would shock him too. It did. Never in his wildest dreams would he have imagined that! All right, to be fair, he had, but he never thought that it would really happen! But it did and he had enjoyed it. He smiles softly, replaying the kiss-their kiss!- in his head one more time. He wonders when his feelings for Donna have changed. Well, not changed, more like evolved. He had grown really fond of her. His brilliant Donna. He likes to watch her and see her smile. That’s why he had brought her here. He had thought she could use a break and that she would like a party in the 20’s. The smile that she had given him when she had walked out of the Tardis all dress up had proved him right. He enjoys being the one who put that smile on her face. He likes to think of it as his smile. He sighs. Better not tell her that though. They’re supposed to be just mates…
