What: Blackarachnia is mostly recovered from her ordeal in the lab. Sentinel is doing his best to ignore the inevitable: what will happen when she's strong enough to leave?

She's noticed the stronger she gets the less he's around. She figures it has something do with her and feels that she has to leave as soon as she can. However, she doesn't bring it up. She's afraid to. So she simply goes about her personal schedule.

At this particular moment, she can be found in the kitchen. She's digging around in the cabinets trying to locate something to satisfy her craving for something sweet. Her time in that lab made her forget how much she loves the taste of certain foods. And now that she's out she can't deny any cravings she has.

[He's in the living room with his laptop, composing his speech for tomorrow night's broadcast. At the sound of her rustling around in the kitchen, his fingers pause on the keyboard and he glances briefly over his shoulder. He doesn't need to ask what she's looking for. He's so used to being attuned to her needs, to figuring them out on his own when she was unable to tell him.]

Check the cabinet over the sink.

[She does so and sure enough just want she's looking for, a package of cookies. She grabs a glass and pours glass into it.]

Need anything? [She calls over to him. Might as well since she's already in there.]

[It's not an accurate answer. He probably should eat something, but he's absorbed enough by sculpting his righteous anger into cleanly devestating lines of text that he doesn't bother to. Eating human food has never given him the same satisfaction as refueling did, and he consequently doesn't care what or when he eats, so long as it gives him the balance of nutrients he needs to stay sharp.

He furrows his brow at the computer screen, frowning at an uncooperative sentence. Momentarily forgetting Blackarachnia's presence - or simply assuming she can't hear him, he recites the last few lines under his breath. Rehearsing until he gets the words to do what he wants them to, then typing in the changes.]

[She blinks at him.]

[He almost laughs. This is absurd.]
